If you feel like you are thirsty more than likely you are dehydrated. Your skin might also look and feel dry and you may experiencing breakouts when you are dehydrated. Drinking plenty of water will help to keep your skin and hair glowing.
Joint pain may also be a signal that you are dehydrated. Your joints are dry and missing water to help keep them lubricated. Many people reach for ibuprofen when they are experiencing joint pain when they might just need to reach for their water bottle. One way to you can visibly see if you are dehydrated is when you go pee. If you are dehydrated your urine color is a dark yellow and may have a strong smell to it. When you are hydrated your urine will be light yellow or almost clear. Another issue you may have in the bathroom if you are dehydrated is constipation or feeling of constipation.
The best way to gauge how much water you should be drinking is to take your body weight and divide it in half. The number you are left with is the number of ounces you of water you should be drinking per day.
